Supervising a worksite that crosses a whole city.
Ten districts, two months, seventeen specialists: checking works spread across an entire capital means being present wherever they advance.
The assignment
Unpaved streets, district by district.
AGER launched the regrading of the unpaved streets of the ten districts of N’Djamena. ETL Expertise was appointed to monitor and supervise these works.
The assignment deployed seventeen people: a lead engineer, a supervising engineer, four laboratory technicians, four labourers, four timekeepers, two drivers and a secretary. The arrangement follows the pace of the worksite rather than the other way round.
The checks bear on execution itself — conformity of the profiles, quality of the materials, actual progress measured against declared progress.
